Match report, FFK 3 vs. Vanløse 4

The second period again saw the Old Boys with an early chance to get back into the match with 2 consecutive penalties against Vanlose. However that was not to be as Vanlose's Norregaard capitalized with his 5th goal in the match the give Vanlose a 7-1 lead halfway through the match. With the match out of reach, the action remained heated and emotions ran high. Despite the intensity the Old Boys were able remain focused on team defense, and held their opponents to only 2 goals in the period. Halfway through the match a late hit from Vanlose captain Romne drew a spirited reaction from Hansen who gave him the classic ice-hockey shove to the shoulder, to which his opponent reacted with soccer-esque flair. The result was a 2-min illegal push penalty for Vanlose and a 2-min and red card for FFK. Vanlose closed out the period with another goal.

In the final frame FFK put on a good fight despite losing Hansen, by shoring up defenses and creating good counter-attacks. Vanlose's Norregaard ended the scoring with his 7th and final goal in the middle of the 3rd in a match well played.
